At Highlands Christian we believe in providing the opportunity for all 4th -12th grade students to play sports. We are proud that we do not hold try-outs for any team and we encourage all students to participate. Each year we have a participation rate of over 80% from our student body. We offer a comprehensive sports program with sports such as Basketball, Cross Country, Flag Football, Kajukembo, Soccer, Spirit Squad, Swimming, Tennis, Bowling, Volleyball and Golf.

For High School, Highlands Christian is a member of the CIF Central Coast Section. We are in the Private School Athletic League (PSAL) and compete with: Kehillah Jewish, North Valley Baptist, Downtown College Prep, Latino College Prep, San Francisco Christian, East Palo Alto, Liberty Baptist, St. Lawrence, Mid-Peninsula, Thomas More, Jewish Community H.S. of the Bay, Mountain View Academy and Summit Prep.

For Middle School and 5th Grade, Highlands Christian is a member of the Small School Intermediate League (SSIL) and compete with: Alma Heights, Charles Armstrong, Gideon Hausner, Nueva, Pescadero, St. Matthews, Seacrest, Woodland, Woodside Priory and Wornick.

For 3rd-4th Grade, Highlands Christian offers sports clinics and camps to help introduce students to a variety of sports and teach basic fundamentals.
